Swedish preschool swarmed by snakes
SOLLENTUNA, Sweden, July 3 (UPI) -- Officials at a Sollentuna, Sweden, preschool said they have discovered more than 20 snakes on the school grounds.
The adders and grass snakes were found in the Vinbaret preschool's yard, within the walls of the building and in a toy storage area, Swedish News Agency TT reported Thursday.
Bites from adder snakes can be fatal to young children and grass snakes have been known to spread salmonella.
The school has been temporarily relocated to another building while a snake trapper works to rid the premises of reptiles, school officials said.
