'Sodomy' sign perplexes neighbors

LENEXA, Kan., July 3 (UPI) -- Residents of Lenexa, Kan., say a local home mysteriously bears the word "sodomy" and a woman's picture on the windows of its garage.

Justin Whedon, a neighbor of the house at 99th Terrace and Quivira Road, said the home's resident once said the picture was of his wife, KMBC-TV, Kansas City, Mo., reported Thursday.

"One day, he got home, my wife got home -- he was yelling the picture was of his wife. She said, 'Why does it say sodomy?' He said, 'That's what they are doing to her,'" Whedon said.

Other neighbors of the house complained that it was unkempt and said the resident who created the sign is currently in jail.
